Today in Mr. Schick's class we continued watching Guns, Germs, and Steel. We learned that one main reason that some civilizations didn't move forward is because of where they are geographically. It basically is just about the luck of the draw. Also, we learned that Asia's main crop was rice, America's main crop was corn, and New Guinea didn't have any crops really. Lastly, we learned that out of 148 mammals that are over 100 pounds only 14 have been domesticated.
